Lesson VI - HELIX and The Guggenheim Museum shape

 1. Firstly I have created some HELIX shapes and profile of circle or square that EXTRUDEd gives me thickness fo HELIX.





2. BOOLEAN operation.


3. Shaping Guggenheim Museum using HELIX command and Creating a profile (section) to extrude.



4. Rotation of profile to fit path of extrusion.

Lesson VII - Extrusions

Today's class was about extrusion options. Here I have created cylinder with another cylinder inside and using INTERSECTION we recieve  object with empty space in the middle.  Next, I have made some substractions of cylindric shape. I have made two REGIONS and I have substracted them. Next I have EXTRUDEd them to have new boxex. Here it is EDGESURF command, and THICKEN on the created surface. Next use of THICKEN command. I have started creating new shape using three circles. Then I have used LOFT command, and SECTION of created figure. Another shape created using LOFT command. I have copied previous shape (the one without extrusion, just "shell") and created two boxex to make SUBSTRACIONs. This gave me possibilty to make another shape using those two surfaces togerther and putting them on different layers to have another colours. Then I have used SHADOW to see how it looks at the end.

Lesson IV - polyhedrons construction

The class was about construction of: 1. Tetraedro  2. Hexaedro 3. Octaedro 4. Dodecaedro 1.   Tetraedro is made of 4 triangles using ALIGN command. 2. Hexaedro is made using its planimetry and command 3DROTATE. 3. Octaedro is made with 8 triangles. I have made one object and then using 3MIRROR I have turned second one to create o ctaedro. 4. Dodecaedro is made with 12  pentagons.

Delivery phase I

Today I'm presenting my work of phase I. As a base I have choosen painting of Wassily Kandinsky named Gravitation. On this painting I have created some shapes using known commands. Here you can see the GIF that presents my step by step work. Below is my A1 panel attached. And here is the step by step representation of my work. 1. I have added some transparency for the painting to better see what is below.  2. I put walls of underground levels using lines, regions and extruding regions. 3. I have made cylinder in 3D and second, smaller cylinder inside to substract them. 4. The same with the second one. Next I have used SLICE to make corridors between black walls and cylindric walls. 5. The floor made with region and THICKEN command. 6. Copy of the floor to have ceiling.  Using small boxes I have made substraction in ceiling. 7.
